The service operator identified on this page is responsible for personal data processed through show.market. Use the contact page for privacy questions and requests.
Information we process
We process information you provide when creating an account, arranging an Event or contacting us: your name, email, Event details, messages and relevant booking records. Artist accounts also include profile, business, publication and payment-related information.
Payment providers process payment details. show.market keeps the payment references, amounts and statuses needed to reconcile bookings; do not send card details or passwords through the contact form.
Why we use it
We use information to provide accounts, prepare and manage Events, communicate with you, handle payments, resolve problems and protect the service. Processing necessary for an Event or your requested pre-contract steps supports that service. Security and handling general enquiries support our legitimate interests in operating a safe, responsive platform. Records may also be needed to meet legal obligations. Where a feature requires consent, we ask separately.
Contact messages
The contact form sends your name, email, subject, message and selected language to our team. A copy is stored in the platform's notification records and is available to authorized administrators. It is also forwarded to the support mailbox. A delivery failure does not erase a received message. Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing.
Cookies, CAPTCHA and analytics
Account sign-in uses a necessary session cookie. Event planning can save an unfinished draft in your browser so it can be recovered. Cap verifies contact submissions and protected account requests to reduce automated abuse; its server verifies a single-use token. Security limits use hashed request identifiers.
When enabled, our self-hosted Umami installation at a.owns.cloud measures page visits and technical usage information without analytics cookies. Our tracker excludes URL query strings and fragments and does not send form contents or account identifiers as custom tracking data. Hosting and security systems may still process network addresses and request logs.
Retention and protection
We retain information for the purpose it was collected for, including handling your enquiry or Event, resolving disputes and meeting accounting or other legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the record and the applicable obligation. Access is restricted by role; authentication, reviewed publication and protected administration routes separate public content from private records. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for processing that relies on it. Some records may need to be retained under a legal obligation. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority.
Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our service or processing changes. The date shown above identifies this version. Contact us if you need clarification about information used for a particular Event or message.
Cookies and browser storage
The necessary connect.sid login cookie lasts up to 10 hours in the current configuration. It keeps your account session and is separate from consent to analytics. Language selection uses the page address, not a language cookie.
The showmarket:event-draft:v1:* localStorage entries keep unfinished Event plans until cleared by the planning flow or by you in your browser; they have no automatic expiry. The showmarket:event-browse:v1 sessionStorage entry keeps your return destination for the current tab. The Artist portal can remember a selected theme in showmarket.artist.theme.
The showmarket_consent cookie remembers your privacy choice, its version and date for 180 days. Necessary storage remains available when you refuse analytics. Open Privacy settings in the footer to review or withdraw your choice.
Stripe may use its own cookies and browser technologies for payment processing and fraud prevention when you use payment features. These are separate from optional website analytics. Cap checks browser behaviour and the DOM to protect submissions and sends verification results to its server. It uses an ephemeral verification token; show.market does not save that token in browser storage.
With your consent, we measure page visits and catalogue interactions. Our self-hosted Umami does not use analytics cookies. We exclude URL queries and fragments and do not send form contents or account identifiers. Browser privacy signals can also prevent measurement.
The showmarket_consent cookie remembers acceptance or refusal for 180 days on this website. You can change or withdraw consent here at any time. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not delete previous statistics.
